ORABOND® 1397PP is part of the AM2 range of high-performance double-coated tapes. It consists of a polyester foil carrier, coated with a modified acrylic-solvent adhesive on both sides. It has very good resistance to UV radiation, extreme temperatures, chemicals, solvents and moisture. Its highly shear resistant adhesive has excellent durability when attached to metal, varnish and high-energy surfaces. It has good bonding durability when attached to a surface with low energy consumption. Due to its high adhesive weight, it is also suitable for rough or structural surfaces.
Area of application:
- Combining paper, cardboard, textiles, plastic and metal films
- Combining the exterior mirror of cars and trucks in plastic housings with shattering protection
- Bonding of skirting boards, trim strips and cable strips
